Apostle Grace Lubega
2 Corinthians 10:5 (NKJV): “casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ”
—
Sometimes we think that when the Bible talks about “bringing thoughts into captivity,” it only means our own thoughts—our fears, doubts, or temptations. That’s true, but there’s more.
Did you know that God can also deal with the thoughts of your enemies? Yes, He can.
There are people who may not like you. People who may fight against you for no good reason. But God is not only able to help you stay strong—He is powerful enough to change their thinking too.
The Bible says in Proverbs 16:7: “When a man’s ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.”
That means God can make your enemies realize, “This person is not alone. God is with them.”
They stop fighting because God brought their thinking into obedience to His will.
What Does This Mean for You?
You don’t need to fear people. God can tame their thoughts toward you. Keep doing what’s right. When your ways please God, He steps in for you. Trust God to handle the unseen battles. He can speak to hearts and thoughts in ways you never could.

GOLDEN NUGGET: You don’t need to fear people. God can tame their thoughts toward you. Keep doing what’s right. When your ways please God, He steps in for you. Trust God to handle the unseen battles. He can speak to hearts and thoughts in ways you never could.
PRAYER: Father God, I thank You for this word. You are great and there is nothing You cannot do. The Bible says that the heart of a king is in Your hands and like a river You cause it to turn. You tame the violent thoughts of my enemies and grant me favour even before those who do not agree with my walk with You. In Jesus’ name, Amen
