Apostle Grace Lubega
Ezekiel 36:2-3, 5 (NLT): This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Your enemies have taunted you, saying, ‘Aha! Now the ancient heights belong to us!’ Therefore, son of man, give the mountains of Israel this message from the Sovereign Lord: Your enemies have attacked you from all directions, making you the property of many nations and the object of much mocking and slander. , This is what the Sovereign Lord says: My jealous anger burns against these nations, especially Edom, because they have shown utter contempt for me by gleefully taking my land for themselves as plunder.

In Ezekiel 36, Israel was under judgment for their disobedience. Their land was desolate, their cities broken, and their people scattered. The surrounding nations mocked them, even boasting, “The high places now belong to us!” They assumed that because Israel had fallen, their inheritance was gone forever.
But they didn’t understand the heart of God. Even when His people were unfaithful, God remained faithful to the covenant. The inheritance wasn’t lost forever simply because they were under discipline.
This is the mercy of God. He disciplines His people, yes—but He never destroys their inheritance. When you turn back to Him, you will find what David declared in Psalm 16:5 still true: “Thou maintainest my lot.”
In Christ, your identity, calling, and spiritual gifts remain intact—even when you’ve wandered. God holds your inheritance secure so that at your return, it is still waiting for you.
Don’t believe the lie that your failure has forfeited your future. God keeps protective custody over what belongs to you. The enemy may mock and claim territory, but God steps in when your name is on it.
So take heart. If you feel like you’ve lost ground spiritually, emotionally, or even physically—know this: what God gave you is still yours. Your inheritance is guarded. Your portion is maintained.

GOLDEN NUGGET: Don’t believe the lie that your failure has forfeited your future. God keeps protective custody over what belongs to you. The enemy may mock and claim territory, but God steps in when your name is on it.
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You that You are a covenant-keeping God. You preserve my inheritance. I seek Your face in confidence, knowing that my portion in Christ is not erased by my mistakes. I receive Your mercy and reclaim every place the enemy tried to steal. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
