Apostle Grace Lubega
Hebrews 10:38 (KJV); Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
Smith Wigglesworth was a radical man of faith. In fact, in Robert Liardon’s God’s Generals, he is referred to as ‘the Apostle of Faith.’ He is famously quoted to have said, “I would rather die believing than live doubting.”
While this statement is admirable and teaches us much about what it means to be persistent in faith, I wish to take you to a deeper understanding of how faith works.
The Bible says the just live by faith. It means that nothing grounded in faith can die because faith makes things live.
If you truly believe God to pull you through a situation, you can never die in that situation. If it is faith that you are walking by, you will surely pull through.
The devil may launch any manner of attack against you but if it is the firm foundation of faith that you are standing on, he can never take you down.
Faith is fertile ground in which businesses thrive, marriages stand and ministries grow. On the other hand, in unbelief, they shrivel and die.
Keep in faith. It may look like the odds are stacked against you. Understand that faith carries the seed of life and will not allow death to reign in your circumstance.

GOLDEN NUGGET: Nothing grounded in faith can die because faith makes things live.
PRAYER: My Father, I thank You for this truth! Thank You for the law of faith that is actively at work in my life. I am a believer! It does not matter how harsh the circumstance, I choose to believe You! I stand on the strength of Your promises because I know that Your Word never fails. I refuse to draw back but trust You to the very end, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
