John 10:10 (KJV); The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
Oftentimes, I have heard people condemn preachers who do not preach about life’s struggles and difficulties. They wonder why such men and women of God are not pointing Christians to ‘reality’.
Their idea of reality is the pain of daily living. While this may be true for those of this world, God has been deliberate on redefining our idea of reality as His children. In Colossians 3:3 (AMP), He says that your real life is hidden in Christ.
The Bible says that the devil came to steal, kill and destroy. It is not our responsibility to preach the works of the devil but to demonstrate to all men what Christ came to do.
Jesus came on the earth that He may reveal the heart of the Father. In doing so, He sought that no man perish, but that ALL may have eternal life. Preaching Christ as anything other than a life-giver is evidence of a misconstrued understanding about the heart of the Father and the Person of Jesus Christ; this breaks the heart of the Father.
The Bible tells us in Hebrews 9:12 that when Jesus went into the Holy of Holies, He secured a complete and everlasting redemption for the Church through the shedding of His own blood. As Christians, we must be fully aware that the life we received after His blood was shed at Calvary gave us life in abundance and absolute freedom from any weapon of darkness.
This is why our preaching and ministry must demonstrate the life that we have in Christ Jesus. Every time we speak of Christ, it must be to show Him as a life-giver, not a condemner, not an angry judge and not He that takes away what He has given us every time we make Him angry.
When we tell people of their greatness in God, we are pointing them to the life in Christ; when we tell men that the power of Christ in them can heal the sick, cause the lame to walk and raise the dead, we point them to the life in Christ.

MAISHA YA KRISTO NDANI YA MUUMINI

Yohana 10:10 (KJV); Mwizii haji ila aibe na kuchinja na kuharibu; mimi nalikuja ili wawe na uzima, kisha wawe nao tele.
Mara nyingi, nimesikia watu wakiwashutumu wahubiri ambao hawahubiri kuhusu mapambano na magumu ya maisha. Wanashangaa kwa nini watumishi wa Mungu kama hao hawaelekezi Wakristo kwenye ‘hali halisi’.
Wazo lao la hali halisi ni uchungu wa maisha ya kila siku. Ingawa hii inaweza kuwa kweli kwa wale wa ulimwengu huu, Mungu amekuwa akikusudia kufafanua upya wazo letu la ukweli kama watoto Wake. Katika Wakolosai 3:3 (AMP), Anasema kwamba maisha yako halisi yamefichwa ndani ya Kristo.
Biblia inasema shetani alikuja kuiba, kuua na kuharibu. Si jukumu letu kuhubiri kazi za shetani bali ni kuonyesha watu wote kile ambacho Kristo alikuja kufanya.
Yesu alikuja duniani ili apate kuufunua moyo wa Baba. Kwa kufanya hivyo, alilenga kuzuia kupotea kwa mtu yeyote, alitaka WOTE wawe na uzima wa milele. Kumhubiri Kristo kama kitu kingine chochote isipokuwa mtoa uzima ni ushahidi wa ufahamu ulioeleweka vibaya kuhusu moyo wa Baba na Utu wa Yesu Kristo; hii inavunja moyo wa Baba.
Biblia inatuambia katika Waebrania 9:12 kwamba Yesu alipoingia Patakatifu pa Patakatifu, alipata ukombozi kamili na wa milele kwa ajili ya Kanisa kwa kumwaga damu yake mwenyewe. Kama Wakristo, ni lazima tuwe na ufahamu ukamilifu kwamba uhai tulioupokea baada ya damu yake kumwagwa pale Kalvari ulitupa uhai kwa wingi na uhuru kamili kutoka kwa silaha yoyote ya giza.
Hii ndiyo sababu mahubiri na huduma zetu lazima zionyeshe maisha tuliyo nayo katika Kristo Yesu. Kila wakati tunapozungumza juu ya Kristo, lazima iwe kumwonyesha kama mtoa uzima, si mhukumu, si hakimu mwenye hasira na si Yeye anayechukua kile ambacho ametupa kila wakati tunapomkasirisha.
Tunapowaambia watu ukuu wao katika Mungu, tunawaelekeza kwenye maisha ndani ya Kristo; tunapowaambia wanadamu kwamba nguvu ya Kristo ndani yao inaweza kuponya wagonjwa, kusababisha vilema kutembea na kufufua wafu, tunawaelekeza kwenye uzima ndani ya Kristo

UJUMBE MKUU: Kumhubiri Kristo kama kitu kingine chochote isipokuwa mtoa uzima ni ushahidi wa ufahamu ulioeleweka vibaya kuhusu moyo wa Baba na Utu wa Yesu Kristo; hii inavunja moyo wa Baba. Tunapowaambia watu juu ya ukuu wao katika Mungu, tunawaelekeza kwenye maisha ndani ya Kristo; tunapowaambia wanadamu kwamba nguvu ya Kristo ndani yao inaweza kuponya wagonjwa, kusababisha vilema kutembea na kufufua wafu, tunawaelekeza kwenye uzima ndani ya Kristo.
SALA: Baba Mpenzi, Tunakushukuru kwa kweli hii. Tunakushukuru kwa ufunuo na tafsiri sahihi ya Neno Lako. Tunaamshwa kupata ufahamu kwamba tunafanywa upya kupitia damu. Tunajua kwamba ulimtuma Mwanao wa pekee afe kwa ajili yetu na sasa tunabeba uhai wake ndani yetu. Tunaelewa maisha ambayo tumepokea na tunaishi kwa ufahamu wake, kila siku, kwa utukufu wa jina lako, Amina.
