Apostle Grace Lubega
Proverbs 4:23(NIV); Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.
—
The boundaries of your life are defined by the state of your heart.
This means that what you let into your heart either expands you or limits you.
For example, there are people who allowed bitterness to infest their hearts and became prisoners of their own inability to forgive and let go.
Because of this, some have not moved on past terrible relationships and judge any new people in their lives based on the standards of those who hurt them in the past. That is a form of limitation and bondage.
Some allowed the negative talk of those around them into their hearts. Now, they are more than convinced that they will never make it far in life. These same meditations have become self-fulfilling prophecies.
Child of God, you have to be very deliberate about what you let into your spirit. It will either give you wings to fly beyond the realms of possibility or chain you to the depths of mediocrity and predictability.
Hallelujah!
