Apostle Grace Lubega
Romans 13:7 (KJV); Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.
God has called us to give honour and not to demand it.
Every time a man finds himself demanding for honour, he should question his place in God because honour firstly comes from God. When God honours you, men will honour you.
On the other hand, if God has not elevated you to a place of honour but you require it from men, you will find yourself having to manipulate them or compromise in many things to receive from men what God has not extended to you yet.
In 1 Chronicles 16:27, the Bible says, “Glory and honour are in his presence; Strength and gladness are in his place.”
I have seen men and women of God with serious delusions of grandeur derived from mere titles and not from the intimacy they share with God. On account of these delusions, they want very special treatment and recognition.
If you desire to be honoured among men, seek God until He gives it to you. Never seek to exalt yourself on your own. God will humble you.

GOLDEN NUGGET: God has called us to give honour and not to demand it. Every time a man finds himself demanding for honour, he should question his place in God because honour firstly comes from God. When God honours you, men will honour you.
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this knowledge. Thank You for teaching me the true pattern for receiving honour. I humble myself before You because I know that You exalt the humble. I serve You with deep humility because that is the ultimate source of my satisfaction, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
