Apostle Grace Lubega
Romans 14:4 (KJV); Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
God jealously guards His servants, His chosen ones. In fact, in Isaiah 54:17, He says, “every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgement thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD.”
In this, He makes the defence and preservation of His servants a matter of inheritance.
His heart towards His servants is made more plain in our theme scripture. The Bible says that He holds them up and makes them stand.
Are you a servant of God? Are you chosen by Him? Then understand this; regardless of how far you feel you have fallen, God always restores His chosen ones.
When David fell, God restored Him because He was God’s choice. Saul on the other hand was never restored because He was not God’s choice for a king over Israel.
It is not in God’s nature to write off His chosen because of their mistakes. It is God’s desire to make you stand. He has marked you as the fulfiller of His purpose and mandate upon the earth, you will stand.
