Apostle Grace Lubega
Acts 17:27 (KJV); That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:
Present-day theology tends to teach about a God who is far from men. Some schools of thought paint Him as an absentee landlord, detached from the comings and goings of His creation.
But that is not the truth as presented in the scriptures.
Our theme scripture makes it very clear that God is not far from each of us. We do not seek a God who has distanced Himself from humanity and has placed obstacles to keep from being found.
By the work of Christ at Calvary, the Lord eliminated any distance between Him and man. He is not high up in the heavens while men are down below on the earth. He is the God in us and with us. In Matthew 28:20, He assures us that He is with us always even unto the end of the world.
You must live your life with the consciousness of the God in you and the God with you. We pray, serve and give Him our all with the knowledge that He is near.

GOLDEN NUGGET: You must live your life with the consciousness of the God in you and the God with you. We pray, serve and give Him our all with the knowledge that He is near.
PRAYER: My Father, I thank You for this truth. The Bible says that in You I live, move and have my being. I am deeply conscious of Your presence in my life. This consciousness drives my life of prayer and service to You, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
