Contrary to popular belief, prayer is not the answer to everything, God is.
You very well know that not all Christians enjoy the experiences of answered prayer. Some have prayed for years about some ailment or affliction but have never received an answer.
Some Christians have more faith in prayer than they do in God. They attach more importance to the act of praying than to the God to whom they pray.
One writer called this prayerless praying. This is because the focus and attention of the Christian is not on God who answers prayer.
You must re-examine your prayer life and the nature of your audience.
To the true man or woman of prayer, it is an audience of one. When you understand this truth, you will realise that prayer is and will always be a response to an open invitation by the Father into His presence.

Contrairement à la croyance populaire, la prière n’est pas la réponse à tout, Dieu l’est.
Vous savez très bien que tous les chrétiens n’apprécient pas les expériences de prière exaucée. Certains ont prié pendant des années pour une maladie ou une affliction mais n’ont jamais reçu de réponse.
Certains chrétiens ont plus de foi dans la prière qu’en Dieu. Ils attachent plus d’importance à l’acte de prier qu’au Dieu qu’ils prient.
Un écrivain a appelé cela la prière sans prière. C’est parce que le chrétien ne concentre pas son attention sur Dieu qui répond à la prière.
Vous devez réexaminer votre vie de prière et la nature de votre auditoire.
Pour le véritable homme ou femme de prière, il s’agit d’une audience individuelle. Lorsque vous comprendrez cette vérité, vous réaliserez que la prière est et sera toujours une réponse à une invitation ouverte du Père à entrer en sa présence.
