Apostle Grace Lubega
Luke 1:74-75(KJV); That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies Might serve him without fear, In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.
Service to God is a lifetime commitment.
When you make the decision to serve Him, understand that it is not based on when you feel like it or when circumstances are conducive.
Our theme scripture is clear on the tenure of our service; it is all the days of our life.
Today, I wish to minister to that weary soul who feels overwhelmed by the burdens of service. Look to the men that went ahead of us and draw hope and encouragement.
Paul, a pillar of service to God, bared the convictions of his heart to us and set a great example.
In 2 Corinthians 11:26-27, he speaks of how he was, “in journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.”
What pain did he not suffer in the name of the gospel but kept serving? What abuse did he not receive for the sake of Christ but kept preaching?
When we signed up to serve God, we signed up for life. Heaven knows so and so does hell. May that be your life’s motto.

PRAYER: My Loving Father, I thank You for this word. Thank You because I have the strength and grace to do everything that I must do in service to You. Today, I am revived, rejuvenated, and refreshed. I stick to my course and set my eye on the prize of the High Calling in Christ, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
