We Have A Living Hope

Apostle Grace Lubega

Job 14:7(KJV); For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.

Life has a way of painting a finality to certain things. It makes them seem irreversible, permanent or impossible.

That’s the woman despairing over the doctor’s Stage IV Cancer diagnosis.

That’s the man whose business is sinking and there seems to be nothing he can do about it.

That is the spouse whose partner has walked out of the marriage.

Regardless of the situation, the LORD assures you that there is hope for a tree, even if it is cut down, that it will sprout again.

If there be hope for the dead stump of a tree, how much more for you child of GOD?!

GOD has erased the finality of circumstances and given us the hope that anything can be revived.

In Job 14:8-9 He says, “Though the root thereof wax old in the earth, and the stock thereof die in the ground; Yet through the scent of water it will bud, and bring forth boughs like a plant.”

At the merest scent of water, a dead tree has hope. For the Christian, this water represents the Word to your soul (Ephesians 5:26).

It doesn’t matter how dead the situation is, the Word can give it life.

Speak the Word because it is spirit and life (John 6:63).

Speak life over that business. Speak life over your body. Speak life over your marriage. It will revive. Glory!

GOLDEN NUGGET:

GOD has erased the finality of circumstances and given us the hope that anything can be revived.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for your Word. I rejoice in it because by it, all things are possible. Lord by your Word, rivers flow in the deserts and the wilderness blossoms. It is the life in my business, my marriage, my career, my ministry and my body. I speak it in wisdom and understanding. I thank you that it revives anything dead around me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
