Apostle Grace Lubega
Hebrews 6:5 (KJV); And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
The world is evolving at a very fast pace.
In our day, we are seeing the emergence of technologies that are redefining humanity as we know it.
For example, scientists are exploring the use of genome editing to design babies by deleting or changing troublesome coding in embryos. In the future, parents may make choices of what kind of genes their babies should carry.
Technology is exploring the reversal of ageing.
Most recently, scientists have even gone so far as to suggest the possibility of ending death. This they have called “the death of death” where they hope to make death optional by the year 2045.
Discounting the ethical questions that arise with the emergence of new and disruptive technologies, where is the Church of Christ in all of this?
Is the Church changing? Is it progressing in knowledge? Yes!
As the world evolves, God is revealing greater spiritual realities through the understanding of the person of Jesus Christ.
The revelation we have today might not be enough as an answer for men in the world to come because of the kinds of answers to the questions of life that science will have to offer.
So, the Church must stay relevant by revealing to the world what cannot be manufactured in a chemical laboratory.
To those who are available, God is releasing nuggets of reformation into their spirits. The world to come belongs to those men.
As the world evolves, expect more manifestation of God’s power and glory.
