The Infinity Of Things

Apostle Grace Lubega

Revelation 1:8 (KJV) I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

When your eyes of perception of the things of the spirit are cleansed, you understand that all things are infinite. God is infinite. You live, move and have your being in Him. He expects you to function and relate with him as an infinite being.

Take an example of two men relating with God. To Moses, creation was a beginning: ‘in the beginning God created the heaven and the earth…’ (Genesis 1:1) but He explained a finite beginning because heaven and earth will pass away (Matthew 24:35). John explained an infinite beginning: ‘in the beginning was the Word.’ (John 1:1) and this Word shall never pass away. These are both beginnings but one is infinite while another is finite.

Because John understood the infinity of things he could say things like ‘there are also many other things which Jesus did, if they should be written even the world could not contain the books that should be written’ (John 21:25).

David said in Psalms 119:96; I have seen an end of all perfection: but thy commandment is exceeding broad. He reached the end of anything that can be defined as perfection and when he did, he realised that the Word of God was still broader.

The Word marks the beginning of infinity. You have been begotten by this very Word (James 1:18). This is what makes you as a child of God bottomless because the bottomless things of God are in you.

You are not a finite being relating with an infinite God. You are an infinite being relating with an infinite God. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: 1 Corinthians 2:10 AMP, Jeremiah 33:3 NIV

GOLDEN NUGGET:
You are not a finite being relating with an infinite God. You are an infinite being relating with an infinite God.

PRAYER: Father, I thank You for the infinity of things; I have the eternal life of God that defines this infinity. In this understanding, I am conscious of eternal abundance and the perpetuity of the things in which you have called me. You are my beginning and my end. My life is the God story. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
