Spirit Taught

Spirit Taught

Apostle Grace Lubega

1 John 2:27(KJV), But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

There are Christians who only read the Bible by following a specific Bible plan. By habit, they read a particular number of chapters and verses every day and nothing can divert them from this pattern.

It is a good thing to have a reading plan. But even in your reading plan, always make room for the Holy Spirit to teach you.

When He teaches you, you will conceive “rhema”. Rhema is the ‘now’ word, that which you need at the appointed time of life.

This is the implication of rhema: God will not teach you about tithe when you need to learn about hearing Him. He will not teach you about demonstration of power when you need to learn about forgiveness.

He knows your needs much more than you do. That is why He prays through us because we often do not know what to pray (Romans 8:26).

He not only does this for prayer; He does it in our study of the Word too.

Simply learn to ask Him, “what do you want me to learn today?” He is more than ready to teach you.

GOLDEN NUGGET

Simply learn to ask the Spirit, “what do you want me to learn today?” He is more than ready to teach you.

PRAYER: Father, thank you for this instruction on how to study the Word. I do not just read it, I am taught by the Spirit of God. He leads me into the knowledge of what I need and in the time that I need it. By this wisdom, I grow quickly in the things of the Spirit. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
