Love, The Substance Of The True Light

Love, The Substance Of The True Light

Apostle Grace LubegaG

1 John 4:8 (KJV), He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

God is primarily love. Before you seek to understand Him as the “source of mysteries and in whom are “unsearchable depths”, behold Him as love first.

From love, the true light derives its substance.

God (who is love) is light. In Him, there is no darkness or shadow of turning (1 John 1:5).

Indeed what casts “shadows” in any light is the absence of love.

Not all light is true, always remember that.

For example, the men who called Jesus Beelzebub, the prince of devils, (Mark 3:22) saw from a certain light but this light did not carry the substance of love.

When Paul persecuted the Church (Galatians 1:13), it was because he saw God from a different light, which light was without love.

In the absence of love, any revelation you receive will be a false light.

In distinguishing the lights, the scriptures require us to “speak the truth in love.” (Ephesians 4:15) because love causes light to radiate with truth.

GOLDEN NUGGET:
God is primarily love. Before you seek to understand Him as the “source of mysteries and in whom are “unsearchable depths”, behold Him as love first. From love, the true light derives its substance.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this Word. I am perfected in your love and walk in the true light. Even as revelation floods my spirit, it radiates with love and establishes the convictions of truth in my spirit and the spirits of those who hear me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
