Apostle Grace Lubega
James 4:3 (KJV); Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
God has promised that when we ask Him, we receive (Matthew 7:7). However, asking alone is not enough, you must know how to ask.
There are many ways people ask amiss. One of these is when they ask without a proper vision of God’s purposes for their lives.
To ask with a wrong vision of God’s plan is to ask amiss.
If God has intended that you impact nations for salvation, but all you can pray for is to go to nations because you admire those who travel there and the goods they come back with, that is asking amiss.
If God’s plan for you is to minister to multitudes, but your key preoccupation in prayer is how much they will give to your ministry, that is surely asking amiss.
Sometimes, prayers are not answered because they are too self-centered and never God-centered.
When God gives you His vision for your life, you will always pray the right way.
When a man sees the world as a mission field, that man prays differently from one who only wants to acquire a plot of land for prestige. It is not about how much you pray; it is about what you see that causes you to pray.

GOLDEN NUGGET: When God gives you His vision for your life, you will always pray the right way.
PRAYER: My Father, I thank You for this word. Thank You for this great wisdom in prayer. You have opened my eyes to Your dream and it is in the revelation of that dream that I pray. Because I have the right vision, I can never limit You in prayer, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
