The Wisdom Of Solitude

The Wisdom Of Solitude

Apostle Grace Lubega

Luke 5:16 (MSG) As often as possible Jesus withdrew to out-of-the-way places for prayer.

There are Christians who are too surrounded by people. They ask questions like; “How come I never hear the voice of God or feel His presence?” Sometimes, it is because they have not understood the wisdom of solitude.

They are constantly seeking human company and not the quiet places of communion with Christ, the lover of their souls.

Seeking solitude is a demonstration of wisdom in Christian growth. The important thing about seeking the place of solitude is that you become more alive unto God.

This does not mean that you should become a total recluse and avoid any form of human company but rather, if you are too available to men, you cannot see God.

This place and the experiences in it teach you the pricelessness of the presence of God. Seek the place of solitude with Him; the reality of His person and presence will be increased in your life. Hallelujah!

GOLDEN NUGGET:
If you are too available to men, you cannot see God.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this Word. I yield and heed to the instructions that lead me to true consecration. I am separated by you for divine purpose. These places of solitude make me alive to you daily and as I grow in this consciousness, your reality increases and multiplies in every area of my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
