The Abrahamic Blessing

Apostle Grace Lubega

Genesis 12:1-3(KJV); Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

The Abrahamic BlessingThe end of the Abrahamic blessing is to become a great nation.

It is not merely to have a good house and a good job. It is more than having a big business in a country. It is more than driving a nice car and having a wonderful marriage. It is a great nation.

Isaiah 60:22 says, ‘A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the Lord will hasten it in his time.’ By the standards of God, an individual can become a strong nation.

God wants to birth nations out of you.

Nations are not born merely out of years of military struggle and decades of democratization.

In Isaiah 66:8, He asks, ‘Shall a nation be born in one day? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children’

By the standard of the Spirit, It is possible for a nation to be born in a single day.

Nations are born when men start to activate the Abrahamic covenant. They are born when men rebuild foundations on the testimony of the Word of God and pay the price of faith to see the establishment of His kingdom on earth.

God wants to work in you so greatly that nations shall call you father or mother.

He wants to bless you mightily that your identity cannot be separated from the identity of a nation.

Start to think of the Abrahamic blessing as more than what can bring you material wealth. Start to think about it as the cornerstone of nation-building.

Glory to God!

GOLDEN NUGGET:

The end of the Abrahamic blessing is to become a great nation.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank you for your great and precious promises. Thank you because they are yes and amen. Thank you because they have been sealed by an oath and they are irreversible. I claim and live in them every day. My thinking is enlarged to look at them through the eyes of heaven, for the building of nations and for the establishment of your kingdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
