Apostle Grace Lubega

Genesis 2:17(KJV); But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Any fruit or seed from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil leads to death.

It was a principle set from the beginning of the earth when the Lord told Adam and Eve that if they ate from that tree they would SURELY DIE. It is not debatable; death is the sure end of anything born of the knowledge of good and evil.

But what is the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil?

It is the fruit of your lips; what you say with your tongue. The bible says a wholesome tongue is a tree of life…(Proverbs 15:4)

Some people often complain about why we insist that a Christian should be perfect in speech; why they should never make any negative confession. They claim that life is not rosy all the time and we have to acknowledge some realities.

They are rich by Christ but when their pockets are empty, they believe it is fine to confess that they have no money.

By Christ’s stripes, they were healed but they are fine with confessing sickness when their bodies are afflicted.

That is eating of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The Bible says you will surely die.

Certain ministries die for no other reason than that they eat of the knowledge of good and evil. They swing between positive and negative confession depending on their circumstances.

Some marriages die for no other reason than that the couples eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

God calls us to eat of the tree of life in acknowledging every good thing that is in us in Christ Jesus.

GOLDEN NUGGET:
God calls us to eat of the tree of life in acknowledging every good thing that is in us in Christ Jesus.

PRAYER: My loving Father, I thank you for this Word. In you, I have everlasting life because I eat from the tree of life; the words of my lips are seasoned with truth and the reality of who I am in you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
