Invest in Eternity

Invest in Eternity

Apostle Grace Lubega

2 Timothy 4:10 (KJV) For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.

When our theme scripture reveals that Demas left Paul for this present world, it means that there is a seen world and an unseen world. When compared to the spiritual world, the present world is very slow.

People who have not learnt to function in the world of spirits are delayed in many things in the physical world. It is important that your eyes are opened to that unseen world if you must be effective in this present world. If Demas’ eyes had seen the world that is not present, he would never have left Paul.

So, how many things do you do because you observe the present world and how many things do you do because you observe the non-physical world?

As a born again Christian, you are going to live forever in eternity; your existence in the flesh is temporal. Consequently, the time you invest in the spirit ought to be more than the time you invest in the flesh.

The things you do to build your spirit man must be more than what you do for the satisfaction of your physical body.

GOLDEN NUGGET:
Your existence in the flesh is temporal. The time you invest in the spirit ought to be more than the time you invest in the flesh.

PRAYER: Father, I choose to invest where the moths cannot eat and where the thief cannot access. Where a man’s treasure is, is where his heart is. My heart is in the eternal things; I give, pray, study and spend of my substance and myself in this understanding. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
