And the manna ceased on the morrow after they had eaten of the old corn of the land; neither had the children of Israel manna any more but they did eat of the fruit of the land of Canaan that year (Joshua 5:12)

There was a time when the children of Israel complained about the manna that they had received from heaven; they were tired of it (Numbers 11:4-6). But this was because they did not understand why manna was given.

The scriptures reveal that manna was given so that they would know that man does not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God (Deuteronomy 8:3). It means that this manna was the Word proceeding from the mouth of God.

The life in the Word sustained them and for forty years neither the clothes on their backs nor the sandals on their feet ever got worn out (Deuteronomy 29:5).

They complained about manna because they understood it not, neither laboured for it; it was food that was very easily available.

This attitude eventually made their life in the Promised Land difficult. It was a land meant to be flowing with milk and honey (Exodus 13:5).

Honey and Milk represent the Word (Psalms 119:103, 1 Peter 2:2).

The manna that fell in the wilderness is representative of the Word that is easily available while, milk and honey represents digging deep in the unseen. This was milk without the physical evidence of cows and honey without the physical evidence of bees.

Like the children of Israel, the Word can be so available to a Christian and yet they abuse this availability instead of seeking for higher things in God.

Any knowledge you receive ought to provoke you to desire for deeper knowledge because by divine principle, His knowledge breaks the depths (Proverbs 3:20).

It is a deceived Christian who thinks that they have received enough knowledge and what they have received is the sum total of what God can define as depth in that dimension of knowledge.

Hari gihe abana ba isaraheri bitotomberaga manu bakiraga ivuye mu ijuru; bari barayirambiwe(Kubara 11:4-6). Ariko ibi byari ukubera ko batari basobanukiwe impamvu bahabwaga manu.

Ibyanditswe byerekana bahabwaga manu kugirango bamenyeko umuntu adatungwa n’umutsima gusa ahubwo atungwa n’jambo riva mu kanwa k’Imana(Gutegeka kwa kabiri 8:3). Bivuze ko manu yari ijambo riva mu kanwa k’Imana.

Ubuzima bwari mu ijambo bwabatunze imyaka mirongo ine, imyenda n’nkweto zibirenge byabo ntibyigeze bisaza

Bitotomberaga manu kuko batayisobanukiwe, cyangwa ngo bayiruhire, yari indyo yoroshye kubona.

Iyi myitwarire yatumye ubuzima bwabo bwo mu gihugu cy’isezerano bukomera. Cyari igihugu kigombaga gutembamo amata n’ubuki(Kuva 13:5).

Amata n’ubuki bihagaririye ijambo (Zaburi 119:103, Petero 2:2)

Manu yagwaga mu butayu ihagarariye ijambo riboneka byoroshye naho amata n’ubuki bigaragaza gucukumbura ibitagaragara. Aya yari amata aboneka na nka tubona mu buryo bufatika n’ubuki na nzuki tubona.

Nk’abana ba isiraheri, ijambo riraboneka cyane kuba kristo, ariko bagafata kuboneka kwaryo nk’ibintu bisanzwe aho gushaka ibintu by’Imana byimbitse kurushaho.

Ubumenyi wakira bwagakwiye kugutera gushaka ubundi bumenyi bwimbitse kubera ko kubw’ amahame yera, kumenya kwe gutobora amasoko y’ikuzimu
(imigani 3:20)

Umukristo wibeshye niwe utekereza ko yakiriye ubumenyi buhagije kandi ko ibyo bakiriye bingana nibyo imana yakwita byimbitse mu rwego rw’ubumenyi.

La manne cessa le surlendemain, vu qu’ils mangeaient des produits du pays. Les Israélites n’eurent plus de manne ; à partir de cette année-là ils mangèrent les produits du pays de Canaan (Josué 5:12)

Il fut un temps où les enfants d’Israël se plaignirent de la manne qu’ils avaient reçue du ciel ; ils en étaient fatigués (Nombres 11:4-6). Mais c’était parce qu’ils ne comprenaient pas pourquoi la manne était donnée.

Les écritures révèlent que la manne a été donnée afin qu’elles sachent que l’homme ne vit pas seulement de pain, mais par toute parole qui procède de la bouche de Dieu (Deutéronome 8:3). Cela signifie que cette manne était la Parole venant de la bouche de Dieu.

La vie dans la Parole les a soutenus et pendant quarante ans ni les vêtements sur le dos ni les sandales sur leurs pieds ne se sont jamais usés (Deutéronome 29:5).

Ils se plaignaient de la manne parce qu’ils ne l’avaient pas compris, mais ils n’avaient pas travaillé pour cela ; c’était une nourriture très facilement disponible.

Cette attitude a finalement rendu leur vie dans la Terre Promise difficile. C’était un terrain destiné à répandre du lait et du miel (Exode 13:5).

Le miel et le lait représentent la Parole (Psaumes 119:103, 1 Pierre 2:2).

La manne qui est tombée dans le désert est représentative de la Parole qui est facilement disponible, alors que le lait et le miel représentent un creux profond dans l’invisible. C’était du lait sans la preuve physique des vaches et du miel sans la preuve physique des abeilles.

Comme les enfants d’Israël, la Parole peut être si disponible à un Chrétien et pourtant ils abusent de cette disponibilité au lieu de chercher des choses supérieures en Dieu.

Toute connaissance que vous recevez doit vous inciter à désirer une connaissance plus profonde parce que par principe divin, Sa connaissance brise les profondeurs (Proverbes 3:20).

C’est un Chrétien trompé qui pense avoir reçu suffisamment de connaissances et ce qu’ils ont reçu est la somme de ce que Dieu peut définir comme une profondeur dans cette dimension de la connaissance.

Je ne prends pas pour acquis la connaissance que j’ai reçue parce qu’elle illumine mon esprit pour voir de plus grandes profondeurs. Par cette compréhension, Tu me lances dans les profondeurs plus profondes ; je réponds comme des appels profonds à la profondeur. Je sais comment rechercher les écritures, comment étudier le mot, comment augmenter dans une compréhension plus grande et plus profonde. Au nom de Jésus. Amen.
