Matthew 23:5-7 (KJV) But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments, And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues, And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.

Service in the kingdom of God is not about titles; it is about function. God rewards faithfulness above the office.
Some Christians are extremely fascinated by titles. They want to be called ‘apostle’, ‘pastor’, or ‘man of God’.

But every minister ought to understand that it is God and not men who qualifies you. It’s a good thing to have these titles, but it shouldn’t bother you if they call you by your given name, do not take offence. Always wait for God to cause them to recognise what is upon you.

Be humble, bearing in mind that responsibility equals to the lives of men for whom you must give account to God.

PRAYER: Father, the chastisements of the Spirit and the convictions of your Word have taught me that every place of honour in the kingdom equals to responsibility over the lives of men. I don’t take lightly what you entrust me with. My primary accountability is to you and not what men see me do for you. Matayo 23:5-7 Ahubwo imirimo yabo yose bayikorera kugira ngo abantu babarebe: n’impapuro bambara zanditsweho amagambo y’Imana bazagura, bakongera inshunda z’imyenda yabo, kandi bakunda imyanya y’abakuru mu birori, n’intebe z’icyubahiro mu masinagogi, no kuramukirizwa mu maguriro, no kwitwa n’abantu Rabi.

Imirimo dukora mu bwami bw’Imana ntishyingiye ku byo twitwa; ishyingiye kubyo dukora. Imana igororera gukiranuka kuruta ibyo ukora. Aba Kristo bamwe bitaye cyane ku cyo bitwa. Barashaka kwitwa ‘Intumwa’, ‘Mushumba’, cg mukozi w’Imana’.

Ariko buri mukozi w’Imana akwiye gusobanukirwa ko ari Imana atari abantu bakwemeza. Ni ikintu cyiza kugira izi nyito, ariko ntibikwiye kuguhangayikisha nibaguhamagara mu izina ryawe, ntukomereke. Hora utegereza ko Imana ibatera kubona ikikuriho.

Cishwa bugufi, umenye neza ko inshingano zihwanye n’ubuzima bw’abantu ugomba kumurikira Imana.

IBINDI BYANDITSWE: Matayo 23:12, 1 Timotewo 3:1-6

ICYO WAKURAMO: Imirimo dukora mu bwami bw’Imana ntishingiye ku byo twitwa; ishingiye kubyo dukora. Imana igororera gukiranuka kuruta ibyo ukora.

ISENGESHO: Data, umwuka n’ijambo ryawe binyigishije ko ahantu hose ho kubahwa mu bwami hahwanye n’inshingano mfite ku buzima bw’abantu. Simfashe byoroshye ibyo wampaye. Ibyo nkora byose mbikorera wowe nago ari ibyo abantu babona ngukorera. Ngukorera muri iyi myumvire; ubu bunyangamugayo bw’umwuka; uku kubonera kw’imbere. Mu izina rya Yesu. Amen

Ebi bakora byona babikora kureebwa abantu; bahangutsya fulakateeri zaabo, baraisya ebijwengye by’emyenda yaabo; bakunda emyanya y’ekitiinisa omu magyenyi, n’ebitebe by’ekitiinisa omuri sinagogi, n’okutangirirwa omu katare, n’okwetwa abantu Rabi.

Obuheereza omu bukama tibitiinisa; kureka n’omugasho. Ruhanga naheereza ebihembo obwesigye ahaiguru y’ekitiinisa. Abakristayo abamwe nibashemezibwa ebitiinisa. Nibeenda kwetwa ‘entumwa’, ‘omuriisa’, nari ‘omusheija wa Ruhanga’. 

Kwonka buri muheereza ashemereire kwetegyereza ngu ni Ruhanga orikukuhamya batari bantu. N’ekintu kirungi kugira ebitiinisa ebi, kwonka tikishemereire kukukora kubi bakweeta eiziina ryawe, otakitwara nk’omushango. Guma oriinde Ruhanga kubaretera kumanya ekikuriho.

Ba omucureezi, orikumanya ngu obuvunanizibwa nibwingana n’amagara g’abantu abu oshemereire kubuuzibwa Ruhanga.

FONCTION ET PAS DE TITRE

Matthieu 23:5-7 (KJV) Tout ce qu’ils font, ils le font pour être vus des hommes : voyez ces larges citations de l’Ecriture fixées à leur front, et ces longues franges à leurs manteaux ! Ils aiment les premières places dans les repas, les premiers fauteuils à la synagogue et les salutations sur la place ; ils aiment que les gens les appellent Maître.

Le service dans le royaume de Dieu ne porte pas sur les titres ; il s’agit de fonction. Dieu récompense la fidélité au-dessus du bureau.
Certains chrétiens sont extrêmement fascinés par les titres. Ils veulent être appelés « apôtre », « pasteur » ou « homme de Dieu ».

Mais chaque ministre doit comprendre que c’est Dieu et non les hommes qui vous qualifient. C’est une bonne chose d’avoir ces titres, mais cela ne devrait pas vous déranger s’ils vous appellent par votre prénom, ne vous offensez pas. Attendez toujours que Dieu les fasse reconnaître ce qui est sur vous.

Soyez humbles, en gardant à l’esprit que la responsabilité équivaut à la vie des hommes pour lesquels vous devez rendre compte à Dieu.

PRIERE : Père, les châtiments de l’Esprit et les convictions de ta Parole m’ont appris que chaque lieu d’honneur dans le royaume équivaut à la responsabilité de la vie des hommes. Je ne prends pas à la légère ce que tu me confies. Ma principale responsabilité est à toi et pas ce que les hommes me voient faire pour toi. Je suis d’accord avec cette compréhension ; cette intégrité de l’esprit ; cette pureté de conscience. Au nom de Jésus. Amen.
