Divide The Sea

Apostle Grace Lubega

Exodus 14:15-16(KJV); And the Lord said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward: But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.

When Moses and the Isarealites found themselves stranded between the Red sea and an advancing Egyptian army, Moses assumed that God Himself would swoop down in might and power and come to their rescue.

In Exodus 14:14, he tells the people, “The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.”

He was wrong. Moses was waiting on God to Act yet God was waiting on him to act.

The Lord asked him, “Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward: But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and DIVIDE IT: “

The life of faith demands that when you are caught between an enemy army and a sea, go forward and DIVIDE THE SEA.

God doesn’t expect you to sit back and wait on Him to separate the waters; He wants you, in the boldness of faith, to stretch forth your hand and divide the sea.

Don’t sit back waiting for divine intervention in a dying business; don’t cower and whine in the face of a failing marriage hoping that God will look upon you with mercy and remember you.

Step out in faith!

Fix your business, career, marriage and education.

God has honoured you because of His Spirit that is in you. Divide the sea!

GOLDEN NUGGET:

Step out in faith! Fix your business, career, marriage and education. God has honoured you because of His Spirit that is in you. Divide the sea!

PRAYER: Father God, I thank you for the mighty power that is at work in me. I know who is in me and whose I am. It is in this knowledge that I fix any issues in my life knowing that all power and authority has been given to me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
