How You Hear

How You Hear

Apostle Grace Lubega

Luke 8:18 (KJV), Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.

When a child of God seeks the “hows” of the Word, he or she is after the results of the Word.

Thus, when the master tells us to take heed how we hear, it is an instruction to seek to have results for the Word we have believed.

How you hear defines your place of stewardship.
As a good steward you are weighed on the ability to multiply what you have received.

The parable of talents is illustrative on this.

The Bible narrates, “He that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.

And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two. But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord’s money.” (Matthew 25:16-18).

The first two servants multiplied what they received, they were men that knew how to hear. And because they knew how to hear, more was given unto them (Matthew 25:20-29).

Like our theme scripture reveals, “for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.”

The bad steward who only buried his Lord’s money is the Christian who only accumulates knowledge and does not produce results.

He is ever learning but never coming to the knowledge of Christ (2 Timothy 3:7), for the proof of knowledge is results.

When you read the scriptures or listen to sermons, seek to practice what you have heard. If you do not see results, study more on that topic, practice harder until you walk in the manifestation of what you have learned.

That is a man who knows how to hear. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Matthew 25:16-29, 1 Timothy 4:15

GOLDEN NUGGET

When you read the scriptures or listen to sermons, seek to practice what you have heard. If you do not see results, study more on that topic, practice harder until you walk in the manifestation of what you have learned. That is a man who knows how to hear.

PRAYER: Father, I am grateful for this wisdom. I know how to hear. I have results of the Word because I daily exercise myself to walk in the manifestation of what I learn. Knowledge is not just information to me, it is experiences and these experiences are the results I see every day. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

What You Hear

What You Hear

Apostle Grace Lubega

Mark 4:24 (KJV), And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given.

It is part of spiritual maturity to take heed what you hear.

The “what” of hearing requires that you yield to the scriptures to have a deeper understanding of what is taught.

What you hear is actually every thought you apply to the Word you hear and how much you meditate on it: be a student of the Word; take time and read harder on the topics taught; meditate and ponder on these things and allow the Spirit to cast more light on what you receive.

The result is: “The measure [of thought and study] you give [to the truth you hear] will be the measure [of virtue and knowledge] that comes back to you — and more [besides] will be given to you who hear” (Mark 4:24 AMP).

“Virtue” as used in the amplified version of our theme scripture is the anointing.

So, the more you study, meditate and ponder on the Word, the more mature IN the anointing you become, as the same anointing increases on your life.

The deeper you study, the greater the working of the Spirit of revelation in your life. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: 1 Timothy 4:15, Joshua 1:8

GOLDEN NUGGET

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for your Word. I am a diligent student of it; I study, meditate and pray in it as a daily part of my life. The Word floods my spirit and my soul. It is the centre of my every action and response. By it, I increase in both knowledge and virtue. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

On The Scales Of Knowledge

On The Scales Of Knowledge

Apostle Grace Lubega

1 Samuel 2:3 (KJV), Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the Lord is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.

God weighs our actions. He does so through knowledge.

By example, consider these two categories of people; one spends hours shouting in tongues to no avail; another opens his mouth and within minutes, he opens heaven.

One man thinks he is teaching mysteries until another opens the same scripture and “breaks depths.”

One man sings and another will take the same microphone and worship.

Each of them is engaged in seemingly the same action but the weight of what they do differs.

When a man is weighed and found wanting (Daniel 5:27), this weighing is the place where he is placed on the scales of knowledge and found to be light: he does not know God.

Seek the knowledge of God because it is what interprets purpose in the spirit realm.

This weight translates as the glory that follows your every action.

FURTHER STUDY: Daniel 11:32, Isaiah 33:6

GOLDEN NUGGET

Seek the knowledge of God because it is what interprets purpose in the spirit realm.

PRAYER: God, I thank you for knowledge. It forms the substance of all my actions. I give, pray and serve you in knowledge. Whatsoever I do has spiritual weight and is glorious. By this, my results in the gospel are distinctive. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Of The Holy of Holies

Of The Holy of Holies

Apostle Grace Lubega

Hebrews 9:8 (AMP), By this the Holy Spirit points out that the way into the [true Holy of] Holies is not yet thrown open as long as the former [the outer portion of the] tabernacle remains a recognized institution and is still standing

The way to the Holy of holies is a revelation. If it is not revealed, you cannot experience the reality of this place in God.

This way can never be revealed as long as “the outer portion of the tabernacle remains a recognised institution and is still standing.”

The outer portion of the tabernacle stands for the religious affiliations and institutions people associate with in their understanding of God.

But as long as men still look at these denominations as the definition of what the Church is or as the ultimate source of truth, they can never intimately know God.

God is not Baptist, Methodist, Orthodox, Anglican or Pentecostal. He is God.

In themselves, some of these institutions demonstrate certain attributes of God but they error in the assumption that what they see represents the total sum of who He is.

If you must see God in His fullness, then you ought to look past your religious affiliation and seek Him in the simplicity of knowing Him.

FURTHER STUDY: Ephesians 2:18, 1 Corinthians 3:3-4

GOLDEN NUGGET

If you must see God in His fullness, then you ought to look past your religious affiliation and seek Him in the simplicity of knowing Him.

PRAYER: My Lord, I am grateful for this Word. I receive the revelation of this sacred way into the most Holy Place. I do not consider religious affiliation as the source of my affirmations. I stand before you without any veils and behold your face in truth. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

To Walk With God

To Walk With God
  • Apostle Grace Lubega

1 Corinthians 13:12(KJV), For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

There is a difference between being in a covenant with God and having a personal relationship with Him.

In the scriptures, God established a relationship with certain men even in the covenant that He had with Israel.

For example, God had a personal relationship with Moses even though he had a covenant with Israel (Number 12:6-8).

There are things that will follow you by virtue of the covenant.

For example, Paul writes in Hebrews 6:9; “Beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.”

Because you are Born Again (in a covenant with God), certain things are automatically your portion.

However, there are graces in which you will function because you are not only a covenant child but have a personal relationship with God.

When you are in a personal relationship with Him, He places a more unique mark upon your spirit.

In the covenant, we all are “a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.” (1 Peter 2:9).

However, even though we are all chosen, one in a relationship is set apart among the chosen; we are all a royal priesthood but another burns incense in the holiest place; we are all peculiar but he is peculiar even in this peculiarity. That is called distinction!

Seek a personal relationship with God because it is what makes you distinctive in your generation.

FURTHER STUDY: Psalms 139:3, Exodus 33:11

    GOLDEN NUGGET:
There is a difference between being in a covenant with God and having a personal relationship with Him. Beyond covenant, seek a personal relationship with God because it is what makes you distinctive in your generation.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for your Word. I am a covenant child, and have purposed to walk in an intimate relationship with you. I carry the seal of your ownership on my spirit and stand out in my generation as one that knows you and is known of you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Amen.

Knowledge Is Intimacy

Knowledge Is Intimacy

  • Apostle Grace Lubega

1 Corinthians 13:12(KJV), For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

Knowledge is intimacy. When He says He knows you, it means that He is intimate with you.

This intimacy leads to union of which the Bible says, “He that is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.”(1 Corinthians 6:17).

The essence of knowledge therefore is to create a union between you and God. Knowledge should never separate you from the God you seek to know.

Some quote the scripture in Isaiah 55:9, “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts” to justify their separation from God. To them, He is up in heaven and they are down on the earth and are nothing to Him.

But weightier truth reveals that “we have the mind of Christ” (1 Corinthians 2:16) and that He has made known unto us the mystery of His will (Ephesians 1:9).

These truths in themselves are a manifestation of the oneness we share with God.

Everything revealed by God is to remind you of your oneness with Him.

Study the Word and receive revelation in oneness with God. Hallelujah!

    FURTHER STUDY: John 17:23, 1 Corinthians 6:17

    GOLDEN NUGGET

Knowledge should never separate you from the God you seek to know. Everything revealed by God is to remind you of your oneness with Him.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this Word. I receive revelation in the understanding that it establishes me in the union of my spirit with you. I walk, study and pray as one who is one with you. Because I receive knowledge in this understanding, when people see me, they see you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Amen.

The Love Walk

The Love Walk

Apostle Grace Lubega

Ephesians 3:19 (AMP); [That you may really come] to know [practically, through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]!

Christianity is a life of spiritual experiences.

However, it is possible to have knowledge and not walk in the experiences of the same.

Our theme scripture calls this “mere knowledge.”

It is mere knowledge (void of experiences) because it is not grounded in love.

Love is constant in every dimension of the Spirit, because it is the highest revelation of the person of God.

As you grow and function in these dimensions of the Spirit, it is important that you be perfected in the love of God.

If you are not, then you cannot have access to certain places in God: there are dimensions you will not reach because those dimensions in themselves are for men who have fully understood that God is love (1 John 4:8).

Your every increase in knowledge is weighed by the standard of love.

You may know the foundations of the earth and the positioning of its cornerstone, the path of light and the place of darkness, the gates of death and the doors of its shadow, the ordinances of heaven and their dominion on the earth, the movements of the winds of the Spirit or the influence and direction of all the constellations.

But 1 Corinthians 13:2 says, “Though I understand all mysteries and have all knowledge yet have no charity, then I am nothing.” (1 Corinthians 13:2).

FURTHER STUDY: 1 Corinthians 13, 1 John 4:8

GOLDEN NUGGET:
Love is constant in every dimension of the Spirit, because it is the highest revelation of the person of God.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for the revelation of your love. Even as I grow in knowledge and how to function in the dimensions of the spirit, I am perfected in your love. I can never know too much to love. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

His Depths And Heights

His Depths And Heights

Apostle Grace Lubega

Proverbs 3:20(KJV), By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew.

Depths in God have levels; every time more knowledge comes to your spirit, a particular level of depth is broken and you are launched deeper in God.

These depths define your heights: how deep you are in God determines how high you fly in the things of the Spirit.

We often claim God’s promise to Abraham, “I am giving all this land AS FAR AS YOU CAN SEE, to you and your descendants as a permanent possession” Genesis 13:15 (NLT).

However, no one can travel and see far in the things of God without a corresponding level of depth.

When He says “as far as you can see,” the question is, how deep are you in God?

God took Abraham to Canaan and while there, He asked him to see. Canaan is translated to mean a “low land.” This allegorically is depth.

It was having considerable depth in God that enabled Abraham to look East, West, North and South and not see just the physical stretch of land before him but to see the world.

For such, He became the father of nations (Romans 4:18).

Seek to launch deeper in God; when you see from these depths, you will always look beyond the limitations of the earth to the limitlessness of the Spirit. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Revelation 4:1, 1 Corinthians 2:9-10

GOLDEN NUGGET

Seek to launch deeper in God; when you see from these depths, you will always look beyond the limitations of the earth to the limitlessness of the Spirit.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for your Word. It launches me deeper into the knowledge of you. Even as depths break for me, I soar higher in the things of the Spirit; my circumference of influence is increased and in these heights I do greater things for the sake of the kingdom. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Launch Into The Deep

Launch Into The Deep

Apostle Grace Lubega

Luke 5:4-6(KJV), Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake…When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.

There are depths in God which the scriptures define as bottomless (1 Corinthians 2:10 AMP).

These depths are realms in the knowledge of God.

They define the glory to glory experiences of the Church, that increase of the knowledge of God as we continue to look into “the kingdom of glass.”(2 Corinthians 3:18).

When you launch into the deep, God reveals divine truths that no eye has seen, no ear has heard and no heart has imagined (1 Corinthians 2:9).

When Peter heeded this instruction from our Lord Jesus Christ, “they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake…” and “when Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.”

Peter’s sin was not just his personal conviction over the state of his life, but was also the sin of unbelief. For whatsoever is not of faith is sin (Romans 14:23).

The Spirit of revelation works with men of faith. God wants to reveal to you things in Him that will cause you to repent; He wants to lead you to unsearchable places that you never thought possible; He desires to flood your spirit with the knowledge of Him until you are submerged in Him.

Simply launch out in faith. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: 1 Corinthians 2:10, Romans 11:33

GOLDEN NUGGET:
God wants to reveal to you things in Him that will cause you to repent; He wants to lead you to unsearchable places that you never thought possible; He desires to flood your spirit with the knowledge of Him until you are submerged in Him. Simply launch out in faith.

PRAYER: Father, your Word is great, the riches of your wisdom and knowledge are past finding out. By the Spirit of revelation, I am launched into unsearchable depths. I see and hear that which no eye has seen, no ear has heard and what has not entered into the hearts of men. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Blessing Of A “mid-wife”

Apostle Grace Lubega

Gen 38:28-30 (KJV), And it came to pass, when she travailed, that the one put out his hand: and the midwife took and bound upon his hand a scarlet thread, saying, This came out first, And it came to pass, as he drew back his hand, that, behold, his brother came out: and she said, How hast thou broken forth? this breach be upon thee: therefore his name was called Pharez. And afterward came out his brother, that had the scarlet thread upon his hand: and his name was called Zarah.

One day, a young zealous minister of the gospel confided in me that he, like the Ephraim in the scriptures, felt like he had tarried long at the place where men ought to give birth (Hosea 13:12-13) yet he greatly desired to bring forth.

I asked him the simple question; “Do you have a ‘mid-wife’?”

It is this same question I direct to any child of God who is “pregnant” and seeks to bring forth what is in the inside of them.

Where is your ‘mid-wife’?

If it had not been for the mid-wife in our theme scripture, the world would have assumed that Pharez was Tamar and Judah’s first born son.

In the life of the Christian, this translates as the order by which certain things must come out of you.

Yes, you desire to bring forth but even in bringing forth, there are those things which come first and must be acknowledged as such, lest you breach both your spirit and the spirits of those you ought to bless.

‘Midwives’ are the people God has placed in your life to show you the pattern of how to bring forth.

He has also given them the divine ability to help you “deliver” safely lest you have still births (aborted visions) or deformed children (corrupted and twisted visions).

You must have a ‘mid-wife’. It is possible that what you need to get to your next level has been placed by God in the hands of another man.

Be humble enough to learn and receive from such.

FURTHER STUDY: 1 Timothy 4:14, Hebrews 13:7

GOLDEN NUGGET:

‘Midwives’ are the people God has placed in your life to show you the pattern of how to bring forth. He has also given them the divine ability to help you “deliver” safely lest you have still births (aborted visions) or deformed children (corrupted and twisted visions).

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this instruction on how to receive from ministers. I humble myself under the hand of those you have anointed for my sake. I do all that must be done to walk in the pattern they have set for me. In this, I bring forth the greatness that is in the inside of me. I can never delay at the place where people ought to give birth because wisdom has taught me the necessity of the ‘mid wife’. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
