Dare to Believe

Dare to Believe

Apostle Grace Lubega

Jesus said unto him, if thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth (Mark 9:23)

When the Bible says that all things are possible TO HIM that believes, it implies that faith is personal. You as an individual, ought to believe that all things are possible.

When He said all things, He did not put any disclaimer or caveat. It means that, as a child of God, you must create room in your spirit for the impossible. This is
because there is a power in God that works out possibility if you give it the opportunity through faith.

Child of God, there is a power ready to serve you the moment you choose to believe.

A man of the world once said that all things are possible only that the impossible takes a little longer. That was a non-Born Again Christian who had conditioned his mind to never entertain impossibility even though he made provision for delays in attaining the same.

But to a new creature in Christ, faith is timeless. It folds time out of the equation and brings impossibility to the now because faith is a now issue (Hebrews 11:1).

The instruction was, ‘only believe.’ (Mark 5:36). Understand that even much praying and fasting, if they are not in the realm of faith, are a waste of time. A man who prays hard without faith or fasts for months without faith is up to nothing.

Child of truth, dare to believe. Believe Big. Believe for what seems impossible to men. God will make it possible.

FURTHER STUDY: Hebrews 11:6, Mark 11:23

GOLDEN NUGGET:
There is a power in God that works out possibility if you give it opportunity through faith.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You because I am a child of faith, it patterns every conviction, word and action of my life. I believe with all my heart that You are able to do exceedingly, abundantly above that which I hope for and even expect. My faith is stirred up for big things and as I live this life, I see the manifestation of these great works that You do so mightily in and through me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Sowing To The Spirit

Sowing To The Spirit

Apostle Grace Lubega

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap everlasting life (Galatians 6:7-8)

When we speak of reaping what one sows, we ought to understand that the regenerated spirit in Christ does not only consider the sowing but also what is sown into. For example, if I sow beans, I am going to reap beans but it does not mean that I should not care about the ground in which I sow. God cares about where you sow.

Our theme scripture says that if you sow to the flesh, you will of the flesh reap corruption but if you sow to the spirit, you will reap everlasting life. It means that the new creature’s seed is sown to the spirit.
Luke 8:11 says: the seed is the Word. It means that you sow the Word into the spirit.

As long as the earth remains, there is seedtime and harvest (Genesis 8:22), you reap what you sow. You are a total sum of the Word you have released in the spirit.

That is why, as a Christian, it is important to constantly speak the Word. WAKE UP IN THE MORNING AND DECLARE IT OVER YOUR LIFE; don’t just think it, say it. DON'T SOW IT SPARINGLY because if you do, you will reap it sparingly!

Declare that you are blessed, that you are increasing in wisdom, knowledge and understanding, that you are an excellent and diligent spirit, that kings come to your rising, that opportunities seek you, that the anointing upon your life increases daily. Speak it. That, child of God, is sowing to the spirit! Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: John 6:63, Romans 10:8

GOLDEN NUGGET:
You are a total sum of the Word you have released in the spirit. As a Christian, it is important to constantly speak the Word, don’t just think it, say it. That is sowing to the spirit.

PRAYER: My father, I thank You for Your Word. It is the substance of my life and of everything that I do. It is what I think, see, breathe and speak. I walk the Word, talk the Word and live the Word. My life is defined by it and as men behold me every day, they see the Word of God in flesh. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Light of the World

The Light of the World

  • Apostle Grace Lubega

Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid (Matthew 5:14)

The Bible calls us the light of the world. What is this light? In the understanding of light, we ought to appreciate that this light also means knowledge.

Therefore, in order to shine, you must know certain things.
The scriptures speak of an experience where kings come to the brightness of our rising and Gentiles come to our light (Isaiah 60:3). Men come because you know. The knowledge shining out of your spirit attracts kings.

A man who knows God cannot be hid. If he is hid, it is only for a while as God teaches him more but the time comes when he must shine.

Knowledge is what shines out of your spirit to give illumination to your world. That is why the Bible says that God who commanded the light to shine out of the darkness has shined in our hearts to give THE LIGHT OF THE KNOWLEDGE of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 4:6).
Knowledge defines your brilliance in the spirit. Hallelujah!

    FURTHER STUDY: 1 Thessalonians 5:5, Ephesians 5:8

    GOLDEN NUGGET:
Knowledge is what shines out of your spirit to give illumination to your world.

PRAYER: Father I thank You for what You are doing in our day, pouring out knowledge in incessant waves. I am hungry for more and my spirit is open to receive. I am established in the understanding of these things that I receive and as this knowledge increases in my spirit, I shine brighter and brighter to illuminate everything that is around me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Amen.

Of Night And Day

  • Apostle Grace Lubega

For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning (Psalms 30:5).

In the mind of God, day is not necessarily the presence of sunlight and night is not its absence. Day and night have a much deeper meaning.

When He says weeping endures for the night and joy comes in the morning, He does not mean that a man cries through the night, the hours when there is no daylight, and then wakes up joyful.

This is because in reality, it is possible to go to sleep with tears on your heart only to wake up in the morning even more burdened.

The Bible says that we have received the sure word of prophesy whereunto we do well to take heed as unto A LIGHT THAT SHINES IN A DARK PLACE until the day dawn and the DAY STAR ARISE IN OUR HEARTS (2 Peter 1:19). Here, he speaks of the word of God as the illumination that defines your day while ignorance defines the place of darkness.
Light and darkness are in this instance the state of your heart.

Weeping endures in ignorance, but joy comes at the illumination of the Word on your spirit.

Without the Word, you are in a dark place (night). But when you know, your light (day) begins.

FURTHER STUDY: Hosea 4:6, Psalms 119:105

    GOLDEN NUGGET:
Weeping endures in ignorance, but joy comes at the illumination of the Word on your spirit. Without the Word, you are in a dark place (night). But when you know, your light (day) begins.

PRAYER: Father I thank You for this knowledge. It illuminates my spirit and causes me to seek You more because I understand that my day is defined by how much I know. I grow in knowledge every day, and because I do, my life is a full testimony of one flooded with light. To the glory of Your name. Amen.

Amen.

How We Partake The God-life

Apostle Grace Lubega

For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily eateth and drinketh damnation to himself not discerning the Lord’s body. For this cause, many are weak and sickly among you and many sleep (1 Corinthians 11:29-30)

The theme scripture explains why many Christians struggle with weakness, disease and early death despite what Christ’s death at Calvary achieved for us.

When the Bible speaks of taking Holy Communion, understand that this is not just bread and wine. It is the blood and the body of Christ that equate to the life of God. So, if men partake the life of God, why then are some weak, sickly and die?

It is because they eat and drink in an unworthy manner. To partake in an unworthy manner is to partake without the understanding of the God-like nature one has (2 Peter 1:4). Such people find it robbery to be like sons of God and instead perceive it as humility to consider themselves as ‘rugs, and utter nothingness’ when compared to God. To them, God is high up there and they are all the way down here.

God does not fall sick; God is rich; God is glorious; God is great and does great things. The scriptures say of the Christ that as He is, so are you in this world (1 John 4:17). To partake of that life in a worthy manner is to acknowledge this truth, that if He is great, you are great. If He cannot be weak, you cannot be weak; if He is rich, you are rich. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: 1 Corinthians 6:17, Psalms 44:8

GOLDEN NUGGET:
To partake of the God life in a worthy manner is to acknowledge that as He is, so are you in this world; Therefore, if He is great, you are also great. If He cannot be weak, you cannot be weak; If He is rich, you are rich.

PRAYER: God I thank You for this word. I am in You, You are in me and we are one. What You can do, I can also do because it is Your power working mightily through me. I live with this understanding every day and as I grow in it, when many see me, they see You for if one has seen the son, he has seen the father. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

To Partake of the Promises

  • Apostle Grace Lubega

These all died in faith, not having received the promises but having seen them afar off and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth (Hebrews 11:13)

The Bible, in our theme scripture speaks of men that beheld the promises from afar off and were persuaded of them but died in faith without receiving these promises.

There are Christians in such a plight. They know what God promised: that they are the head and not the tail; that they will lend to nations; that by His stripes they were healed; that He has delivered them from the hand of he that was stronger than them. They know everything God has said about their lives but these things are far from them.

Even if they believe them, many die broke, sickly, beggarly and poor. Yes they had faith, but they died in faith without enjoying the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. They saw these things afar off, knew they were in the Word but never walked in the manifestation of them because they knew not how to RECEIVE.

But this ought not to be your story. The Bible says that you have not only been GIVEN promises, but you have been GIVEN the promise: the Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of all things that have been freely given to us by God (1 Corinthians 2:12).

Every promise of God is your portion. Like Joshua, you should boldly say: ‘not one good thing has failed of all the good things which the Lord God spoke concerning you; all came to pass and not one thing failed.’(Joshua 23:14). Receive it all!

FURTHER STUDY: Psalm 103:2, Psalms 68:19,

    GOLDEN NUGGET:
You have not only been given promises, but you have been given the promise: the Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of all things that have been freely given to us by God. Every promise of God is your portion. Don't only believe but RECEIVE these things in your spirit.

PRAYER: My God You are faithful. Your word is true, it is impossible for You to lie. For every word and promise spoken over my life, I choose to receive and believe that they are my portion. I walk in them and live out their fullness every day of my life. Divine health is mine, super abundance is mine, favour is mine, glory is mine. All precious things are mine. You have purposed that I have these things; that I increase in greatness; that my barns are filled to overflowing; that my lips drip with fatness. This is my story. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

    EETUDE COMPLEMENTAIRE : Psaumes 103:2, Psaumes 68:19,

Amen.

The Order Of Things

The Order Of Things

  • Apostle Grace Lubega

For as much as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most suredly believed among us, Even as they delivered them unto us which from the beginning were eyewitnesses and ministers of the word; it seemed good to me also having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first to write unto thee inorder, most excellent Theophilus That thou mightiest know the certainty of those things wherein thou hast been instructed (Luke 1:1-4)

In the early church, after the ascension of Christ, there were many people who took it upon themselves to write down things pertaining to the Christ.

Luke, in our theme scripture, reveals that even though many did, he found it fit to also do so having had a perfect understanding of the order of these events.

This was not just a physical order but a spiritual order. The question to the man of the spirit would be, why did God allow certain books to be retained in the Bible while others were not? It is because the retained books defined the spiritual order of things. The gospel of Christ is a patterned script.

Similarly, your success in this world is dependent on your understanding of the order of events in the spirit. That is why in the building of the tabernacle, Moses is given strict instructions to build it directly to the pattern of what he beheld in the heavens (Hebrews 8:5).

Services are first beheld eternally before they are held physically because in the mind of eternity, earth experiences are known before hand.

You might have an order physically and yet not have an order spiritually. Any man might start a ministry, a business or any kind of vision but if he does not understand the spiritual order by which things are established, he can never sustain a legacy.

FURTHER STUDY: Jeremiah 1:5, Ephesians 2:10

    GOLDEN NUGGET:

Any man might start a ministry, a business or any kind of vision but if he does not understand the spiritual order by which things are established, he can never sustain a legacy.

PRAYER: Father, I thank You for Your great word. My eyes are opened to behold the order of the things in the spirit and it is by this that I start anything on the earthly plane. By this wisdom, anything that I do on the earth is patterned after an eternal blue print. I know that by this knowledge, what I do will be relevant for generations to come. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Amen.

Hunger For More

Hunger For More

  • Apostle Grace Lubega

And the manna ceased on the morrow after they had eaten of the old corn of the land; neither had the children of Israel manna any more but they did eat of the fruit of the land of Canaan that year (Joshua 5:12)

There was a time when the children of Israel complained about the manna that they had received from heaven; they were tired of it (Numbers 11:4-6). But this was because they did not understand why manna was given.

The scriptures reveal that manna was given so that they would know that man does not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God (Deuteronomy 8:3). It means that this manna was the Word proceeding from the mouth of God.

The life in the Word sustained them and for forty years neither the clothes on their backs nor the sandals on their feet ever got worn out (Deuteronomy 29:5).

They complained about manna because they understood it not, neither laboured for it; it was food that was very easily available.

This attitude eventually made their life in the Promised Land difficult. It was a land meant to be flowing with milk and honey (Exodus 13:5).

Honey and Milk represent the Word (Psalms 119:103, 1 Peter 2:2).

The manna that fell in the wilderness is representative of the Word that is easily available while, milk and honey represents digging deep in the unseen. This was milk without the physical evidence of cows and honey without the physical evidence of bees.

Like the children of Israel, the Word can be so available to a Christian and yet they abuse this availability instead of seeking for higher things in God.

Any knowledge you receive ought to provoke you to desire for deeper knowledge because by divine principle, His knowledge breaks the depths (Proverbs 3:20).

It is a deceived Christian who thinks that they have received enough knowledge and what they have received is the sum total of what God can define as depth in that dimension of knowledge.

FURTHER STUDY: Proverbs 24:3-4, Proverbs 15:14

    GOLDEN NUGGET:
Any knowledge you receive ought to provoke you to desire for deeper knowledge because by divine principle, His knowledge breaks the depths. It is a deceived Christian who thinks that they have received enough knowledge and what they have received is the sum total of what God can define as depth in that dimension of knowledge.

PRAYER: Thank You my father for Your great Word. I am stirred up to desire more. I do not take for granted the knowledge I have received because it illuminates my spirit to see greater depths. By this understanding, You launch me into depth upon depth; I respond as deep calls unto deep. I know how to search out the scriptures, how to study the word, how to increase in a greater and deeper understanding. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

    ETUDE COMPLEMENTAIRE : Proverbes 24:3-4, Proverbes 15:14

    PEPITE D’OR :

Amen.

To Never Thirst Again: Reveal Christ

To Never Thirst Again: Reveal Christ

  • Apostle Grace Lubega

The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee, I am he…The woman then left her waterpot and went her way into the city and saith to the men, come see a man which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ? (John 4:25-29).

In the conversation between Christ and the Samaritan woman, He revealed to her that she had had five husbands, and the man presently living with her was not her husband either (John 4:17-18).

When He told her that He was the Christ, our theme scripture reveals that she returned to the city and told the men that He had told her everything that she had ever done.

This demonstrates why some men thirst again while others do not. If the Christ had stopped at showing her things about her personal life, He still would have been qualified as a man of God. However, she would still thirst again.

When we tell men: ‘I see this in your life…I see God doing this…I see God sorting your marriage and your children’, all those things are wonderful but men will always thirst again.

Only a revelation of the Christ guarantees that men will never thirst again.

A child of God with this understanding will not trouble the man of God every day saying: ‘tell me what you see in my life or what God is saying,’ because the revelation of the person of the Christ answers all. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Colossians 2:2-3, Colossians 1:17

    GOLDEN NUGGET:
Only a revelation of the Christ guarantees that men will never thirst again.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for this knowledge. By it I choose to look to the Christ, He in whom are hid all treasures of wisdom and knowledge and in whom all things consist. He is my ultimate source, and my satisfaction, the reason I can never thirst again. He is the substance of my desires and it is He that I seek every day. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

  • Ne Jamais Avoir Soif De Nouveau : Reveler Le Christ

    ETUDE COMPLEMENTAIRE : Colossiens 2:2-3, Colossiens 1:17

    PEPITE D’OR :

Amen.

To Never Thirst Again: Looking Above The Sword

  • Apostle Grace Lubega

Jesus saith unto her, Go call thy husband and come hither. The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband. For thou hast had five husbands and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that sadist thou truly. The woman said unto him, Sir I perceive that thou art a prophet. Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship. (John 4:16-20)

When Jesus told the Samaritan woman to call her husband, it seemed like a diversion from the direction that the conversation was taking. But, he did so deliberately; he looked ‘below the sword’ in order to provoke her to ‘look above the sword’.

Looking 'BELOW THE SWORD' involves, among other things, the spiritual perception of things that do not necessarily perfect one for the work of ministry while looking 'ABOVE THE SWORD' involves among other things, the spiritual perception of things that ought to perfect one as a minister of the gospel and align them to divine purpose.

Jesus told her about her relationships so that she could be stirred up in her spirit to desire something deeper. Because she is a Samaritan, one who perceives spiritual matters, this talk about her husbands veers into a discussion of worship. This, child of God, is a wisdom in God.

Someone who lacks perception of spiritual things would have said, ‘man of God, what else do you see? Is my new business idea going to be a success? What about my children, will they get married?’

When anything 'below the sword' is exposed, it ought to provoke us to seek deeper things of the spirit. Yes, the man of God has seen that such and such a thing is happening in your family, can that push you to seek this God who reveals even the secrets of men?

Yes the man of God has seen that there is an opportunity coming your way, that is wonderful but can that push you to desire for the things of eternity, the mind of God, His purpose and plans?

Many people treat men of God like witchdoctors. It’s always an issue of ‘tell me man of God, what is God saying about my new boyfriend, about this job, about that business deal…’

But like Jesus told the Samaritan woman, ‘ if you knew the gift of God and who it is that says to you give me to drink, you would have asked of Him and He gives to you living water.’(John 4:10).

Men of God and ministers of the gospel are gifts from God. If you understand this, you ask for living water. That is, things that define the life of God: the multiplication of the anointing, how to walk in the spirit, how to have deeper communion with God, things 'above and not below the sword'. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Colossians 3:2, Matthew 6:33

    GOLDEN NUGGET:

PRAYER: My God, I thank you for Your word. In everything that I do, I seek to look above the sword, to see those things that are eternal in Christ, that represent Your mind and Your purpose. My desire and convictions are patterned to the things above. Because of this hunger in my spirit, You open my eyes to places in You that are deeper than a man’s ability to search them out; places You personally lead men. In Jesus’ name. Amen
